Back in Paris (August 29, 2008)All the best things have an end, and now it’s the turn of my holidays
I must say I am so sad that I am no more in holidays, enjoying visiting nice places, having fun, going to parties, meeting friends, in both Tokyo and Singapore! Not to say about food… Kobe’s beef, I am gonna miss you so much!!! Sushis, Okyonamakis, Takoaykis, ramens … miss you too!
Dooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :o(
I have taken during my holidays about 23GB of pictures! On average, 250 per day ^_^!
Some people laugh at japanese tourists in Paris, because they take pictures of everything, but I think that this *really* nothing compared to me ah ah. Japanese people must now think french tourists are crazy photographers LOL =) !
In one word or in one thousand, I had a wonderful time during my holidays!
You will find below, all the pics of my holidays, day by day:
- Day 1 - Yokohama
- Day 2 - Kamakura & Enoshima
- Day 3 - Akihabara, Asakusa & Ueno (Tokyo)
- Day 4 - Shibuya, Harajuku & Shinjuku (Tokyo)
- Day 5 - Ikebukuru, Akasaka & Shibuya (Tokyo)
- Day 6 - Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower & Shinjuku (Tokyo)
- Day 7 - Kyoto
- Day 8 - Kyoto
- Day 9 - Osaka & Kobe
- Day 10 - Hakone
- Day 11 - Ginza & Odaiba (Tokyo)
- Day 12 - Singapore
- Day 13 - Singapore
Enjoy sightseeing each place, it was really worth the visit for me
Currently in holidays, moving to Singapore (August 20, 2008)Hello,
I know I haven’t posted since a long time on my blog! That’s because I am currently in holidays. I was last week in Japan, and I am now moving to Singapore.
I will of course post the most beautiful pictures of my travels here once I have sorted all the photos I took (about 2000 already in one week)!
Cheers
Sébastien
Photos from Japan Expo 2008 (July 7, 2008)I was there
The longest waiting queue in my life, more than 1 hour to get in for buying a ticket, and about like 1 km of walking, crazy crazy crazy!
Overall, this was a good day, although I got less goodies than I used to on previous years!
Some pics from the convention:
Photos of the Arch at La Defense, Paris (June 9, 2008)Today I had a day-off, and as the weather was hot and shiny, I went to one of the last place I never (or barely) visited in Paris: La Defense.
You will find in the photo slideshow pictures from:
- The Arch of La Defense
- photos of old computers taken at the museum of computers in the arch of la defense
- skyscrapers, business centers and shopping malls in la Defense
- photos from le bois de Boulogne in Neuilly sur Seine
If you visit Paris as a tourist, I might recommend you not to spend more than half a day in this place, at is it not really designed for tourists, but it is more one of the main business centers of Paris (plthis place is full of white-colars ^^), yet I think it was worth the sight!
I am glad to publish today my second tutorial for WHS ![]()
This tutorial will guide you through all the steps of setting up a FTP server on your Windows Home Server (WHS), so as to allow users to access specific folders of your WHS from anywhere in the world with only a FTP Client.
+
Instead of using the pre-installed Microsoft IIS FTP server component, I have chosen to replace it with the open-source Filezilla FTP Server, which is easy to install and configure, yet very powerful (it’s in my humble opinion the best FTP server out there too
)
